Privacy Policy

Who we are
StoryScale is provided by Elementalys. For privacy requests, contact [email protected].
Data we collect and why
- Jira issue and project metadata required to run the app features (for example issue key, summary, status, components, labels, assignee display name, linked issue metadata, and Story Point field values).
- Estimation session data created by users in StoryScale (for example ranking order, comparison decisions, calibration boundaries, and publish drafts).
- Basic technical diagnostic data needed for support and reliability (for example error messages and timestamps in app logs).
- Contact information provided by customers when opening support requests by email.
We process this data to deliver the core estimation workflow, persist sessions, troubleshoot issues, and answer support requests.
Where data is stored and processed
StoryScale runs on Atlassian Forge and primarily stores app data inside Atlassian-hosted infrastructure through Forge storage capabilities.
We do not sell customer data. We do not use customer data for advertising. We do not process end-user data outside Atlassian services except when strictly necessary to provide direct support (for example information shared by customers in support emails).
Sharing and subprocessors
We only share data with service providers required to operate StoryScale and support customer communication.
- Atlassian Forge and Atlassian Cloud services (application runtime and storage).
- Email and collaboration providers used to handle support communications.
We require subprocessors to handle data under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Retention and deletion
We keep data only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Customers can request deletion of support-case personal data by contacting [email protected]. Data managed directly in Jira and Atlassian products is governed by Atlassian and customer admin controls.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data we control. To submit a request, contact [email protected].
